This is a portrait of San'er, a restless Beijing playboy. Experiencing a state of existential crisis, he seems to be economically free but implicitly exhausted and torn. Facing a series of secret relationships as a “lover” and family relationships as “husband” and “father”, he begins his aimless trip to find his physical and spiritual freedom and to fulfill his long-awaited self-realization.
